Research At The RLS Museum

By Appointment Only

Anyone wishing to conduct research using the museum archive and  permanent collection must contact the Museum’s staff to schedule an appointment.  Appointments for the archive must be made 2 weeks prior to your arrival. 


Research may be conducted outside of normal operating hours with advanced arrangements. 


The RLSM may request an initial fee of $50.00 for the first hour of research and $20.00 for each subsequent hour. During your research, RLSM staff will be available to assist you in your research. 

Fees can be paid onsite or online. 

This fee is charged for both onsite and online research requests and is applied based on the type of researcher you are:

Students and Teachers (K-12)
RLSM is happy to provide FREE access to the wide variety of primary and secondary source materials to our local students and their teachers. Additionally, the RLSM staff is happy to work with you in bringing the museum experience into your classroom if desired. All services to local K-12 schools, teachers, and students are always offered free of charge.

University Students and Scholars
Please expect to pay an initial hour fee of $50.00 and a subsequent fee of $15.00 for each additional hour.
