Are you interested in becoming more involved with the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum? Consider becoming a volunteer!
There are several areas where you can lend your time and talent to the RLSM and we will work with your schedule.
Giving back through volunteering at the RLSM is one of the easiest and best ways to help preserve and share the Story of Stevenson!
Do you love getting up close with history? Here is your chance!
We have great opportunities for detail oriented volunteers working with and helping to care for our unique collection of objects, artwork, photographs and much more! This a great chance to see history up close and work with pieces over 100 years old!
Do you enjoy planning events and designing programs for the community?
Volunteer with the RLS Museum as an events and programming volunteer! As an integral member of the team, you will be directly involved in ensuring everyone can experience the story of Stevenson!
If you are a student in need of volunteer credit hours, let us know! We are thrilled to help you learn about museums, collections management, and building skills for the workplace.
Please include a resume and an explanation of the hours needed to complete your credit.
We are always eager to work with those who have a love of history and literature and who love sharing their passion with others!
If this sounds like you, sign up to be a docent at the RLS Museum! Docents are tour trained and provide a unique experience for visitors bringing the Story of Stevenson to life!
Docent shifts are available from 12 to 4 pm, Tuesday – Saturday.
